FRANKFORT – The Kentucky State Senate yesterday adopted Senator Jerry P. Rhoads’ resolution (Senate Resolution 250) honoring the Ohio County High School Eagles Boys Basketball Team for winning the 3rd Region Championship.
FRANKFORT – Senator Jerry P. Rhoads, D-Madisonville, honored Charlotte Whittaker, the receipt of the 2012 AARP Andrus Award for Community Service, with a Senate Resolution (SR 191) today on the floor of the Kentucky State Senate. SR 191 was adopted by the full Senate.
The AARP was founded as the American Association of Retired Persons in 1958 by Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus, a visionary dedicated to the philosophy of productive aging and well-being for all. The AARP Andrus Award for Community Service honors outstanding individuals making a powerful difference in their communities in ways that further the aims and vision of the AARP.
